Two elite, self-funded kickboxers from Bootle, Liverpool — a mother and daughter competing on the world stage.

Carley Flynn, 38, is an elite kickboxer from Bootle, Liverpool, and a former National Champion currently defending her title. She has achieved multiple World Gold Medals across disciplines, including at the 2025 World Championships in Niagara, USA & Canada.
Training at Hurricane Combat & Fitness under the supervision of Mr Ian Hollett, Carley continues to compete internationally as a self-funded athlete, balancing elite-level preparation with long-term commitment to the sport.

Alisha Amin, 15, is an elite kickboxer from Bootle, Liverpool, and a former National Champion currently defending her title. A multiple World Gold Medallist, she has competed internationally at the World Championships, most recently in Niagara, USA & Canada.
Training alongside her mother at Hurricane Combat & Fitness, Alisha’s competitive career reflects sustained success across national and international competition.
